The Role

The APAC Enterprise Governance - Observability Technical SME role is a new role within the SEEK Technology function. In this role you will be working for the Enterprise Governance Lead as an observability guide and advisor, providing teams with mentoring support and assistance, while continuing to uplift Seek’s observability, capabilities and awareness.

Key Responsibilities

Observability

• Define SEEK’s Strategy, framework and approaches
• Drive a consolidation of tools and technologies used.
• Define key patterns for Observability at SEEK, including BAU Operations of.
• Working the Service Management team Alerting, Monitoring, Eventing and Ticketing Roadmaps

The Team

The role is part of a growing function and will collaborate with Enterprise Governance Lead. This role is an important influencing role and will need to create and maintain relationships across all areas of SEEK and our vendor & partner network to develop and deliver our Observability Strategy.

Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience

• Bachelor degree or equivalent in Technology or IT Risk Management
• Sounding understand of AWS Technologies, specifically those related to Logging, Eventing and alerting
• Solid experience with Datadog, and Splunk, and ideally their alternatives in the market
• Implementation of an Observability Strategy at an Enterprise level
• Demonstrated experience building tools, dashboards, and automation to increase transparency and reduce toil.

Other Qualifications, Skills and Experience

• Experience in ServiceNow, PagerDuty
• Experience in process re engineering and communication of change
