FMCG Assistant Sales Manager General Trade

Role & Responsibilities

• Leading General Trade (GT) team in achieving group sales target
  
• Assisting team in sales target customers inquiries collection and other salesrelated issues
  
• Come out with a business strategy evaluate current business performance maximizing business reach and potential.
  
• Explore and open new distribution market and accounts within Malaysia
  
• Identify business opportunities building and maintaining successful relationships with prospects and existing clients/distributors.
  
• Negotiating business contracts and closing deals
  
• Follow up new business opportunities
  
• Conduct and coordinate market research / opportunity assessment compiling the information and make recommendation to management
  
• Retain existing customers and renew contracts
  
• Building long term relationships with existing dealers and distributors
  
• Identify opportunities for greater profits
  
• Submit reports and representing GT group in HOD
  
• Handle ad hoc tasks and special projects as been assigned
  

Requirements

• Previous experience in sales or business development preferably in the general trade sector.
  
• Strong communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  
• Resultoriented with a track record of setting and achieving sales targets.
  
• Preferably from FMCG background with an understanding of industry dynamics and market trends.
  
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
  
• Ability to multitask prioritize tasks and work effectively under in a fastpaced environment.
  
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and trends to make informed decisions.
  
• Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings events etc
