🚢Sales Executive | Freight Forwarding/NVOCC

📍Placement : Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia

Are you a hunter-type salesperson who enjoys finding new customers, closing deals, and growing business?

We’re looking for a Sales Executive with experience in freight forwarding, NVOCC, shipping, or logistics, particularly someone who has a strong network and a proven track record in acquiring new customers and generating ocean freight business.

🔎 What You’ll Do

* Identify and acquire new customers for sea freight, NVOCC, freight forwarding & logistics services

* Generate new business through cold calling, customer visits, referrals, networking, and market research

* Build and maintain strong relationships with customers

* Understand customer shipping requirements and provide suitable logistics solutions

* Prepare quotations, negotiate rates, follow up on leads, and close deals

* Develop new business opportunities and increase customer volume

* Monitor market rates, competitors, and industry trends

* Coordinate with Operations, Documentation, Customer Service, and Finance teams

* Achieve monthly and quarterly sales & revenue targets

* Maintain accurate sales records and regularly report sales activities and pipeline

Participate in customer meetings, industry events, and networking activities

🎯 What We’re Looking For

* 2–5 years of relevant sales experience in freight forwarding, NVOCC, shipping, logistics, or related industries

* Strong knowledge of ocean freight, import/export, and international logistics

* Proven track record in new customer acquisition and achieving sales targets

* Existing customer network in the freight forwarding / shipping industry is highly preferred

* Good understanding of freight rates, quotations, and commercial negotiations

* Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills

* Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently

* Good command of English and Bahasa Indonesia

* Willing to travel for customer visits and business development
