Your new role
Establishes quarterly targets and business goals for the sales team, providing necessary coaching and support to ensure targets are achieved.
To coach and develop direct reports in the field, demonstrating best practices and meeting Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE) Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Motivates and engages the sales team through team activities, sales challenges, and regular one-on-one communications.
Promotes ongoing development by creating personalised development plans for team members and providing practice opportunities.
Ensures team members maintain high levels of product and disease management knowledge, collaborating with the Scientific Communication Manager for training and monitoring customer education progress.
Conducts monthly business reviews with the immediate supervisor to assess the performance of the sales team.
Evaluates the territory’s potential and seeks new sales opportunities to achieve targets in account coverage, distribution, and active account rates.
Coordinates with internal stakeholders, including the Supply Chain Manager and Finance Manager, and collaborates with different department heads
Manages key accounts efficiently and develops joint business plans within the allocated budget.
Conducts pre- and post-evaluations of major activities to ensure financial and operational objectives are met and takes action based on findings.
Measures and communicates results proactively, sharing best practices with other associates.
What you'll need to succeed
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies / Administration / Management / Commerce / Food Technology / Nutrition / Dietetics or equivalent
Strong sales background with the ability to work in a highly competitive and dynamic environment.
At least 4–6 years in sales with 3 years of team management role in the FMCG/ Medical / Pharmaceutical environment
Excellent commercial and business acumen with good negotiation skills
