6764 - Manufacturing Engineer

The company are seeking a Manufacutring Engineer, responsible for new tools qualification, testing, transfer and approval activities. Involve in new products manufacturing, development and testing activities during NPI state if applicable

Job Descriptions:

• Liaise with customer/internal on the program status & updates related to new tool qualification, mold trials, tool transfer, tool refurbish and Engineering Change Notice (ECN).
• To lead internal team (Quality, tool room, production, assembly etc) to meet the customer timeline with Gantt Chart tracking.
• To register/edit new tool information into the Tool Management System (TMS).
• To coordinate the engineering documents (Work Instruction, flow chart, Gantt Chart, PFMEA, Control Plan, etc) with the support from process owner.
• To create & release the Bill of Material (BOM), tool matrix, packaging matrix etc.
• To lead the process owners (Process Engineer, Tool makers, Quality, Designers) to resolve technical issues during mold trial basing on Dimension Report (DR) and Cosmetic Report (CR).
• To lead the process owners on process & equipment readiness. (Eg: Jigs & fixture, degating jigs, EoAT, assembly line & equipments)
• To study and propose packaging method for new products.
• Arrangement of tool trial, resin preparation for trial & build, preparing of tool trial report and yield information.
• Submission of parts to customer for qualification & golden samples approval & Part Approval Processs (PAP) consolidation/submission
• Conduct weekly meeting with process owners to update status and progress of work with proper minutes of meeting/tracker format.
• To collect & provide process information to Costing team for quote preparation if applicable.
• Any other ad-hoc tasks per request by immediate superior

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma holder & above
• Minimum 3~4 years in manufacturing segment
• Program/NPI management skill.
• Good manufacturing understand.
• Good interpersonal skill.
• ISO system knowledge - ISO 9001, ISO45001, ISO13485, IATF 16949 etc
• Able to read technical drawings.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Project Management Software.
• With plastic manufacturing knowledge will be added advantage.
• Able to speak mandarin added advantage
