Role and Responsibilities:

• Prepare product cost estimations, pricing proposals, quotations, and profitability analyses to support competitive pricing decisions.
• Analyze cost impacts from product changes, raw material fluctuations, manufacturing processes, MOQ requirements, scrap, and obsolete inventory, and update costing structures accordingly.
• Conduct costing reviews, pricing evaluations, customer cost-down exercises, and support pricing negotiations through cost and market analysis.
• Review BOMs, maintain costing records, update product price lists, and support regulatory costing submissions and documentation.
• Collaborate with Finance, Purchasing, Production, and Sales teams to gather cost data, perform financial assessments, and support business decisions.
• Monitor market trends, manufacturing costs, and operational expenses to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve profitability
• Perform standard cost reviews, cost revaluations, break-even analyses, and manufacturing cost comparisons to enhance operational efficiency.
• Prepare monthly costing and profitability reports, providing insights and recommendations to management.

Requirements:

• At least ACCA OR Degree in Accounting OR its equivalent.
• At least 4 years working experience in related field is an added advantage.
• Possess knowledge in UBS Accounting software is advantage.
• Possess good interpersonal, communication and financial analytical skills.
• Well verse in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, etc).
• Conversant in English & Mandarin & Bahasa Malaysia.
