Company Overview:

VEMAX DISTRIBUTION SDN BHD is a Distributor / Supplier of ICT products (WiFi Network, Cyber Security, 5G, VoIP, Server). We are doing B2B customers. As part of our expansion plans, we are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Account & Admin Assistant. 

Position Overview:

As an Account & Admin Assistant, you will be crucial in supporting our finance and administrative functions. The successful candidate will have a background in accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task in an environment. This is an opportunity for an individual eager to contribute to the success of a thriving company. Salary can be negotiated based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting:

  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions and documentation
  • Reconcile bank statements and financial records
  • Communicate with customers and suppliers for account purposes

Administration:

  • Provide administrative support when needed
  • Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date stock records, stock-in and stock-out documentation, and deal with courier 
  • Handle general office duties, including answering phones and managing emails

Communication:

  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to achieve common goals
  • Communicate effectively with team members and leader

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Proven experience in accounting or administration roles will be an advantage
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Independent with good ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Well-organized, accountable, self-motivated, and approachable disposition
