Our client, the largest public bus provider in Johor, was established with the aim of delivering an efficient and sustainable public transport system for the community.

Job Description

• Partial or full sets of accounting - responsible for performing the day-to-day general ledger accounting, closing, and financial reporting and analysis on timely and accurate basis.
• Monitor AP, AR and preparing inter-company monthly reconciliation.
  - Internal Controls ensure regulations, standards, company policies and delegation of authority are being followed.
• Liaise with audits and tax matters, preparation of WHT submission and compliance of tax submission deadline.
• Manage data, records and reports by checking for errors and verifying accuracy of information.
• Adhere to all FRS requirements and internal controls.
• Assists in compiling data or information required from the supervisors
• Any other tasks assigned from time to time.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a diploma, advanced, higher, or graduate Diploma, Bachelors Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
• Required skill (s): Proficient in Microsoft Office MS Word & Excel.
• Experience in accounting firm or audit firm environment is an added advantage.
• Able to handle full set and finalized accounts is an added advantage.
