As we continue to expand, we are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Account Assistant to join our team, focusing on the role of a bookkeeper.

Job Description

As an Account Assistant at  Bubble Laundrette Sdn Bhd, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and assisting in day-to-day accounting tasks. Your primary focus will be on bookkeeping duties, ensuring that financial transactions are recorded correctly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record financial transactions using Xero accounting software.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are accounted for.
• Process invoices, expense reports, and other financial documents in a timely manner.
• Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements.
• Assist with ad hoc projects and tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven experience as a bookkeeper or accounting assistant is preferred.
• Understand in Xero accounting software (Xero.com). 
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
