Responsibilities
- To perform data entry of accounts receivable and payable invoices.
- Process invoices, receipts, and payments in a timely manner.
- Assist in preparing financial statements and reports
- Prepare bank reconciliation report
- Handle full set of accounts including preparing journal entries, maintaining balance sheet schedules, and reconciling accounts.
- Perform month-end closing activities such as accruals, adjustments, and financial statement preparation.
- Maintain proper accounting record
- To perform any other duties and ad-hoc assignments as and when required by immediate superior or any other persons assigned by the Management.
Requirements and skills
- Candidates should possess at least LCCI/Diploma in Accounting or equivalent.
- New graduates with relevant qualifications are welcome to apply
- 1 – 2 years Work experience as an Accounting Assistant is an added advantage
- Knowledge of Microsoft excel will be an added advantage.
- Pleasant personality, innovative and self motivated.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
