Penerangan Pekerjaan - Account clerk

We are looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Account Clerk to join our finance team.

job responsibilities:

1. Data Entry and Record Keeping

  • Maintain accurate and updated financial records.
  • Prepare and process invoices, bills, and payments.

2. Accounts Payable and Receivable
  • Manage accounts payable by processing supplier invoices, verifying amounts, and ensuring timely payments.
  • Handle accounts receivable by generating invoices, tracking payments, and following up on overdue accounts.

3. Reconciliation
  • Perform bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial records.
  • Reconcile supplier statements with company records to resolve discrepancies.
  • Financial Reporting

4. Assist in the preparation of financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements.
-Generate and distribute monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

5. -Provide administrative support to accountants and other financial staff.

6. Maintain organized filing systems for financial documents.
  • Handle correspondence related to financial matters.
  • Compliance and Procedures

7. Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulations.
-Assist in the implementation of new accounting systems and processes.
with budget preparation and monitoring.
8. Handles creditors queries on any matter pertaining to their accounts

Requirement:
  • Diploma in Accounting / Finance / Banking / Business Administration or any other related qualification.
  • Able to converse in English/Bahasa Melayu
  • Friendly and outgoing personality
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (ability to create and use spreadsheets, basic formulas).
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements.
