Account Executive - Growth-Minded Organization

We are a growing, privately-owned Accounting Firm that provides tax compliance, bookkeeping and business advisory as well as servicing interstate clients based in Melbourne, Australia. Due to continued growth, we are seeking to join the team.

In this Role you will be responsible for supporting the Australia office in the delivery of preparing quarterly activity statements, financial accounting and tax reporting as well as ensuring that policies and standard processes are in place across the business. The role will be broad, hands-on, challenging and highly rewarding for the successful individual.

Job Duties

• Collaborate and ensure bookkeeping and quarterly statements are prepared and filed for all entities on timely manner.
• Preparation of financial statements for all entity types.
• Prepare quarterly Business activity statements (BAS) for submission.
• Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
• Perform any other tax related assignment given by Management.
• To support other ad hoc tasks as required by Management from time to time.

Requirements

• Experience in general ledger accounting, preparing journal entries.
• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in accountancy or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar role
• Experience managing multiple tasks in complex environment.
• Must be able to demonstrate critical thinking skills and open to new challenges.
• Strong work ethic
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent use of different accounting software, cloud computing and Office365.
• Willing to work in Seremban.
