COMPANY OVERVIEW

Founded in 1977, we ventured in machineries fabrication and maintenance services. Currently, Ngeam Engineering Works Sdn Bhd (NEWSB) comprises of 3 core business: (1) Built and commissioning for integrated NPK Fertilizer Process Plant System and Bio-Fertilizer Process System, (2) Built and commissioning for integrated Feed Mill Plant Management System and (3) Engineering Contract Manufacturing and Design. 

We dedicate our services in engineering solutions such as concept design, layout planning, detail design, manufacturing, project management, delivery and commissioning works. Under Engineering Contract Manufacturing and Design, we export machineries to overseas such as Indonesia, Japan, Australia, Republic of Congo, Zambia and Philippines. Simultaneously, NEWSB also focuses on machinery R&D and improvement initiatives for its fabricated process. Investments have been made to advance Laser machinery and operating system to achieve operational excellence in quality, cost efficiency and deliverables to our end users.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Manage the daily financial & accounting transactions such as cash management, receivables, payables, banking and records transactions.
2) Handling full set of account, prepare account analysis, final year end account for auditor.
3) Responsible for monthly and ad-hoc reporting for variance analysis.
4) Handling petty cash management and process staff claims.
5) To maintain proper filing system to ensure documents are traceable in an efficient manner.
6) To assist in corporate & indirect tax (sales tax/service tax) matters. Monitoring tax exemptions validity period.
7) To assist in the ISO9001 & ISO14001 administration works.
8) Liaise with Auditor, Tax Agents, Bankers and any other statutory bodies to ensure compliance.
9) Involve in ad-hoc assignment from time to time.
10) Any other task assigned by the superior.

REQUIREMENTS:
1) Degree/ACCA/CIMA/CPA or diploma in accounting & finance.
2) At least 4 years of relevant experience is required. Experience from Audit/Tax background would be an added advantage.
3) Advance knowledge in Microsoft Words, Excel & Powerpoint
4) Able to operate in SAP would be an added advantage.
5) Good interpersonal communication skill and have good command in English.
6) Must be able to work independently.
