Qualifications & experience
- Candidate must possess at least LCCI or Professional Certificate in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of working experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office-Word and Excel.
- Experienced in SQL Accounting software.
- Able to start work immediately.
- Analytical, good working attitude and able to work independently.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize workload and able to meet deadlines.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Perform daily operational accounting & finance functions in accounts receivable, payable, general ledger, cash, and bank management.
- Participate in the closing of accounts, preparation of financial. statements and reporting matters.
- Assist in the preparation of consolidation of accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and quarterly reporting.
- Attend to the auditors or tax agent queries in relation to annual audit and annual tax submission.
- Liaise and follow up with bank officer in relation to bank matters.
- Assist in performing general administration functions.
- Response to ad-hoc duties as and when delegated.
