Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Verify the accuracy of invoices, including pricing, quantities, and terms before print and send the invoices to customers.
• Maintain professional and effective communication with customers and inform them of their debts, negotiate payment plans, and confirm the prompt payments.
• Maintain a systematic and organized record of all invoices and billing documents.
• Monitor debtor aging balances and ensure payments are up to date.
• Investigate and resolve unused or unidentified payments.
• Respond to customer inquiries and provide assistance regarding their account balances.
• You may also be required to report the bad debts to the director to take legal action.
• Assist in audits and provide necessary documentation and support as required.
• Any ad-hoc task assigned by the management team.

Job Requirements

• Knowledge of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations
• Good math skills and ability to spot numerical errors
• Strong communication, research, problem-solving and time management skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (E.g., Excel)
• Ability to build relationships with clients and internal departments
• A desire to learn and grow within the field of accounting
• Minimum Diploma in Accounting/Finance/Business/MathematicsI or equivalent
