Job Responsibilities :
An Account Specialist who mainly involves in month-end closing and performs monthly financial analysis.

Job Requirement:

  • Prepare and ensure timely accounts closing (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
  • Ensure all financial reporting are prepared accurately and in accordance with the appropriate accounting standards.
  • Perform monthly financial analysis such as revenue analysis, gross profit margin, expenses fluctuation for financial review and presentation.
  • Perform reconciliation of balance sheet account, inventories, accruals, bank and inter-company balances.
  • Maintain proper filing and housekeeping of financial records including fixed asset register.
  • Liaise with tax agent/consultant for all tax related matters (including yearly tax submission).
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors, statutory bodies, company secretaries, bankers and other consultants for audit/financial and banking matters.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of internal controls, policy & procedures for the company.
  • Performs ad-hoc assignments as required by the management.
Pre-Requisites :
  • A university graduate in accounting and finance and / or a member of a recognized body such as MIA, ACCA, CPA etc.
  • 1-2 years of experience in related field as Account Executive or Accountant.
  • Flexible and able to work under pressure
  • Hand on, Meticulous, eye for detail and organised
  • Possess strong communication skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment
  • Independent, self-motivated, pro-active and a team player
  • Experience in SAP will be an added advantage
  • Audit experience is a definite advantage.
