What you will be doing

Daily Operations

• Prepare and analyse daily reports for payment related operations for AU market;
• Prepare daily settlement transactions in bank;
• Perform daily accounting routine functions;

Accounting and Reporting

• Bookkeeping and monthly reporting for AU, HK and NZ entities;
• Assist in annual statutory audit, taxation matters and company secretarial matters;
• Support on cash flow management, intercompany transactions and settlement;

Client Account Reconciliation 

• Assist to monitor and reconcile client account balances on a daily basis;
• Assist in preparation of monthly and quarterly compliance reports to licensing authority;
• Provide analyses and information in response to ad hoc requests from time to time.
• Work together with other teams to continuously improve the quality of financial reporting and automate internal operational processes;

What we are looking for

• At least 5 years experiences in preparing full set of accounts and month-end closing;
• Degree/Diploma in Accounting or member of a professional accounting body
• Firm grasp of basic understanding of accounting, financial reporting principles and practices and tax law;
• Ability to work well in teams and independently;
• Great attention to detail; Strong work ethics, with a capability to manage confidential data and communicate with stakeholders; 
• Experience in payment industry would be an advantage; Interest in working for a fintech start-up and enjoy working with numbers;
• Open mind with a willingness to learn; Proactive and possess excellent organizing skill;
• Possesses at least intermediate skills in Ms Excel and/or Googlesheet
