Accountant

Job Responsibilities:

Provide and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial statements, financial records, including ledgers, journals and databases for internal and external stakeholders.

Analyze financial data and reports to identify trends, discrepancies and opportunities for cost reduction or revenue enhancement.

Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts to guide future financial decisions and handle all bank related matters.

Liaise with external parties such as auditor, lawyer, tax agent and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with all local and statutory requirements.

Managing tax planning and liaise with tax authorities and agent on the tax information required for preparation and filing tax returns and other tax related matters.

Perform any ad- hoc tasks assigned by the Superior / Management.

Qualifications / Requirements:

Candidate must be MIA member.

Effective communication skills to convey financial information to the team, other departments and investors.

Strong knowledge of financial tools and analytical skills with the ability to identify financial trends and opportunities.

Ability to adapt to changes in financial systems, regulations and organizational needs.

Able to work independently with minimum supervision and work in team.

Flexible and willing to travel upon request.

Required language (s): Able to speak and write in  English, Bahasa Melayu and Mandarin in order to communicate with local / oversea authorities ( e.g. China, Dubai).

With the experience to plan and structure the company for listing is added advantage.
