Accountant

• Oversee and manage the general accounting functions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, taxes and others
• Meet financial objectives by forecasting and draft annual budgets, project expenditures and meet any financial regulatory requirements
• Monitor revenue and expenses by tracking revenue and expenses, cost control and analyzing financial data
• Clearly communicate the progress of monthly / quarterly financial reports to internal stakeholders
• Prepare management reports, financial statements and other relevant reports for internal and external stakeholders
• Responsible for the withdrawal of cash cheque and to bank in cash collection
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Delegate responsibilities to the team

Responsibilities:

• Able to handle full set accounts
• Establish and monitor financial systems

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy with at least 3 to 5 years working experience in relevant field
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Keep abreast with latest accounting legislation
• Good analytical skills
• Detail oriented
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
• Good leadership skills and a team player
• Familiar with accounting software
• Computer literate
• Good command of English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin
