Qualifications & experience

• Candidate with Degree in Accounting or Professional Degree.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in a similar role of Assistant Accountant / Accountant.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Responsible for full set of accounting functions and activities which include preparation of Balance Sheet, P&L, Trial Balance, subsidiary ledger reports (for a small-size entity).
• Lead, train and supervise a team of accounts assistants and/or finance executives to handle finance functions.
• Perform monthly closing reports, variance analysis and management reporting.
• Perform cash flow reporting and forecasts.
• Perform Forex accounting and reporting.
• Perform quarterly and yearly tax submissions including estimated tax computations.
• Liaise with auditor for yearly statutory audit and periodic internal audit.
• Ensure compliance of financial authority limits, financial reporting standards (FRS), company policies and other regulations.
• Perform monthly Group Reporting activities, such as financial consolidation, KPI reporting etc.
• Take on lead roles in ad-hoc projects and activities assigned.
