Opportunity

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to play a key role in our financial operations. You will be responsible for the full financial cycle, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, bookkeeping, and analysis.

 

Scope Of Responsibilities

· Manage all aspects of the financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and inventory control.

· Maintain the general ledger accurately to generate timely and insightful management reports.

· Ensure the Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) are maintained accordingly and accurately to ensure timely collection and payments are made.

· Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.

· Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.

· Document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

· Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement).

· Perform bank reconciliations and ensure all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.

· Analyze financial data to identify trends, generate reports, and provide insights to support informed decision-making.

· Assist with budgeting and forecasting for the restaurant.

· Prepare and file all necessary tax documents.

· Stay up-to-date on relevant tax laws and regulations.

· Liaise with Auditors on the yearly audit.

· Liaise with Bankers on banking matters and company secretary for company secretarial matters.

· Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure financial alignment.

· Manage ad-hoc tasks or projects to support the company’s financial health.

 

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.

· Minimum 2 years of experience in preparing full set account of F&B is highly preferred.

· Proficiency in SQL accounting software.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
