ACCOUNTANT - Exciting Challenge

This is a Japanese-based company in Malaysia.

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the full spectrum of Accounts (inclusive Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL) and Reporting).
• Monitor daily transactions, bank book and month end closing.
• Ensure timely billing to stakeholders and compliance with AP & AR procedures by generating and raising invoice, debit and credit notes.
• Reporting account to Japan (HQ).
• Monitor the cash-flow position and ensure adequate fund for operation.
• Maintaining record keeping and proper filling systems.
• Assist in all audit/tax schedule and audit/tax enquiries from auditors and tax agent for interim/year-end audit.
• Liaison with external parties including suppliers, bankers, auditors and tax agents.
• Update job knowledge by keeping current with financial regulations and accepted practices; participating in educational opportunities.
• Other HR administrative work support as assigned by superior 
• Any other accounting and finance related duties as directed from time to time.

Requirements:
• Age requirement between 30 – 40 years old 
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English & Chinese (added advantage).
• Japanese speaking & written is an added advantage.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• With minimum 3 years & above relevant working experience in similar capacity.
• High accuracy and meticulous.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Independent, self-motivated, pro-active and a team player.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge in Corporate Tax will be an added advantage.
