ACCOUNT/FINANCE MANAGER

• Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as payroll, invoicing, payments and other transactions.
• Ensure all payments are on time and Supplier invoice are properly verified
• Effectively manage cash flows including the credit control function to ensure adequate funds to meet business needs
• Establish and maintain accounting policies and internal controls to ensure completeness and accuracy of accounting records
• Actively liaise with bank and monitors the foreign exchange rates and provide recommendation that is favourable for the Company.
• Timely preparation and submission of audited statutory accounts and corporate tax filling including SST submission and compliance.
• Manage the team in daily accounting duty, improving quality and efficiency of deliverables.
• Monitor execution of effective control policies and procedures to protect company assets and interest.
• Analyze Company’s performance, highlight areas of weaknesses and opportunities for improvement.
• Perform break-even analysis and daily monitor stock balance during festive seasons.
• To be familiarized with all aspect of the business and coordinate process and operation across the organization.
• Work closely with Manufacturing, Operation and Warehouse team in managing costing and drive continuous improvement in the business.
• To develop costing ideology to better monitor costing structure of the Company.
• Lead and assist in monthly physical stock count, identify and investigate on the variances.
• Review & authorize on purchase orders with proper supporting documents
• Undertake ad-hoc assignment as and when required by the management team.
• Requirements
  • Possess minimum Degree or recognized Professional Accounting Qualifications in Finance/Accounting
  • At Least 5 – 10 years of working experience in accounting line. Experience in manufacturing/processing environment is an added advantage.
  • Strong leadership qualities, strategic thinking, strong business operations and control experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good Analytical skills, details, trustworthy and committed to meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Autocount accounting software.
  • Ability to prioritize among competing tasks with critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Besides English and Bahasa Malaysia, candidates fluent in Mandarin is a MUST as role requires to deal with overseas speaking clients and business associates.
  • Salary will be commensurate with qualification & experience
