What you’ll achieve
As an Accounting Senior Advisor, you will resolve financial support issues and inquiries from both internal and external customers and work with relevant non-accounting personnel in reviewing contracts to confirm company policies are adhered to and financial reporting requirements of the company are met.

You will:

• Team lead role- manage a small team. Assist with contract review/approval. Support Finance on royalty non trans outlook.
• Support the team on Royalty close activities. Also review/approve journals and recons, CFR commentary etc.
• Support global processes and controls. Continuously drive for accounting process improvements within the team. Ensure sufficient & proper controls in place surrounding our royalty process/functions as well as our accounting close activities (SOX controls).
• Work closely with & provide support to cross functional business teams. Develop team members' technical & soft skills.
• Assist in/handle tax-related matters. Support global royalty processes and controls. Partner with cross functional teams in Procurement, Corporate Tax, Legal, Finance, Accounting, Operations, Inventory Control.

Essential Requirements

• A recognized degree in Accounting/Finance or Professional Accountancy qualification with minimum 8 years relevant experience
• Strong drive for results and business acumen with the ability to deal with ambiguity
• Effective communication with strong interpersonal skills
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Proficient in MS Access will be an added advantage

Desirable Requirements

• Professional qualification in Accounting (Eg: ACCA, MIA etc)
