HOSPITAL LAM WAH EE , PENANG is a not-for-profit organization in Penang. The Western Medicine Division of Hospital Lam Wah Ee was established in 1983. It is a 700-bed capacity not for profit community hospital. Over the years , Hospital Lam Wah Ee has expanded tremendously in terms of infrastructure, state-of-the-art equipment and introduction of new medical and surgical services to become a centre of excellence in healthcare. Qualifications & experience

• SPM qualification with basic accounting knowledge or with a LCCI qualification in Bookkeeping
• Knowledge in journal entries
• Basic knowledge of payroll laws and regulations

Tasks & responsibilities

• Ensuring that compensation for overtime work is calculated at the appropriate rate and allowances is calculated accordingly, if applicable.
• Performing all tasks well before the pay run to ensure that Hospital staff are compensated and notified on time.
• Gathering and examining timesheets to ensure their validity
• Assist in preparing and distributing salary slips and EA form
• Coordinating with the HR department to ensure correct employee data.
• Addressing queries about payroll-related issues.
