About Us: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company’s accounts receivable portfolio, ensuring timely collections, assessing credit risks, and maintaining effective customer relationships. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, with excellent analytical and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Receivable Management:

• Handle monthly and ad hoc consolidated billings.
• Update/post daily receipts in AR ledger and perform reconciliations.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue invoices.
• Post GL entries in Navision for month-end closing.
• Prepare monthly AR-related balance sheet schedules.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and audits.

Collections:

• Send monthly statements of accounts.
• Contact customers via phone, email, or mail to collect outstanding receivables.
• Prepare, track, and maintain records of collections.
• Escalate collection issues to management when necessary.
• Generate monthly accounts receivable reports for management review.

Customer Relations:

• Maintain positive and professional relationships with customers.
• Work closely with the Customer Service and Billing teams to resolve customer billing disputes and queries efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Degree/Diploma in Accounting, ACCA, or any relevant accounting qualifications.
• Proven experience in accounts receivable, credit control, or a similar role.
• Positive attitude, resourceful, takes initiative, meticulous, and a good team player.
• Good effective communication and interpersonal skills.
