Job responsibilities:
To support the finance department in various accounting and financial tasks, ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial records and transactions. Responsible for handling various aspects of the accounts function, including invoicing, payment processing, reconciliation, financial reporting, maintaining accurate financial records, investigating and resolving any discrepancies or inquiries and inventory management.
- Prepare invoices, credit notes, monthly statements of account and official receipts.
- Follow up on outstanding payments and send payment reminders to customers to ensure timely receipt of payments.
- Conduct regular reconciliation of accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Assist in daily accounts transactions, including checking, verification, and follow-up on discrepancies or issues.
- Prepare monthly & quarterly performance bonuses and ensure timely reports delivery.
- Maintain and update records.
- Report any discrepancies in inventory promptly to prevent financial losses.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, financial regulations, and company policies.
