Accounts Receivable Executive (AR) Job Summary:The Account Receivable Executive is responsible for overseeing the accounts receivable function within the financial operations. This role involves managing invoicing, monitoring outstanding accounts, and ensuring timely collection of payment. Job Responsibility:Ensures accurate and timely processing of financial transactions (journal entries, refunds, credit/debit notes, commissions).Meticulously handling core transactions and customer accounts, managing credit risks, and driving process improvements.Conduct ageing analysis and collaborate with business units to address reconciling items promptly.Maintain strict compliance with control procedures, ensuring adherence to credit policies.Monitor accounts receivable aging reports to identify overdue accounts and initiate appropriate follow-up actions to secure outstanding payments.Record and reconcile payments/cash received from outlets using the accounting system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in posting transactions.Prepare daily reports on accounts receivable status, aging analysis, and collection activities for management review, providing insights and recommendations for improving cash flow and reducing outstanding balances. Identify opportunities to streamline accounts receivable processes, enhance efficiency, and implement best practices to optimize revenue collection and minimize bad debts.Maintain organized records and documentation of accounts receivable transactions, correspondence with customers, and collection efforts, ensuring completeness and accuracy of documentation.Undertake ad hoc tasks as advised by superiors. Qualifications:1. Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.2. Proven experience in accounts receivable, billing, or finance role.3. Strong understanding of accounting principles, billing procedures, and revenue recognition standards.4. Proficiency in using accounting software (e.g., AutoCount) and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.5. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.6. Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
