Admin/Operations Assistant - Cargo Management (Licensing)

Job Description

POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY

To manage all aspects of Free Zones operations and activities pertain to operations and manifest balancing.

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

• To assist Operations Executive to ensure all manifest balancing tasks is running smoothly.


• To compile on cargo statistic.


• To assist Operations Executive in conducting training for forwarding agents 


• To handle and manage correspondence related to free zone operation.


• Responsible as a Safety, Health, Enviromental (SHE) Secretariat & Representative for FCZ /DFTZ.


• To responsible on  incident control and customer complaintmatters.


• To prepare performance report and summary for FCZ /DFTZ Management’s Review for FCZ Operations & SHE.


• To coordinate meeting with internal or external stakeholders namely Terminal Operators, Forwarding Agent, Customs, and IT Divisions.


• To operate FCZ Operations’ budget prior submission to FCZ /DFTZ Administration


• To perform other task as and when directed by superiors

• To respond to any issue arises from operational activities and escalate it to immediate superior


• High quality of deliverables and works required especially when involved external stakeholders      
  
   

Skills

Relevant Industries

• Experience:
  
  
  
  • Working experience in logistics operations, cargo data reconciliation, freight forwarding administration, or free zone compliance.
  
  
  • Having working experience in Free Commercial Zone (FCZ) would be an advantage.
  
  
  
  

• Qualifications & Skills:    
  
  
  
  • Computer Skills: Computer literate (especially in Microsoft Office – Word, Powerpoint, & Excel).
  
  
  
  

Education

• Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia with:
  
  
  
  • Credit in Bahasa Melayu
  
  
  • Passed in English
  
  
  • Passed in Mathematics
  
  
  
  

OR

• Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia Vokasional:
  
  
  
  • Credit in Bahasa Melayu (Code 1104)
  
  
  • PNGKA: >2.5
