Agronomist

• Develop and implement crop management plans to optimize yield and quality. 

• Monitor crop health and disease management strategies. 

• Recommend appropriate crop varieties and planting schedules. 

2. Soil Management:  

• Conduct soil tests and analyze results to determine nutrient requirements. 

• Develop and implement soil management practices, including fertilization, irrigation, and erosion control. 

3. Research and Development: 

• Conduct research on crop breeding and soil management techniques. 

• Stay updated with the latest agricultural technologies and innovations. 

• Develop and test new agricultural products and practices. 

4. Advisory and Consultancy: 

• Provide technical advice and training to farmers and plantation managers. 

• Develop and deliver educational programs and workshops on best agricultural practices. 

• Assist in problem-solving and decision-making related to crop production. 

5. Data Collection and Analysis: 

• Collect and analyze data on crop performance, soil conditions and climatic factors. 

• Use data to forecast crop yields and develop strategies for risk management. • Prepare detailed reports and present findings to stakeholders. 

6. Compliance and Quality Control: 

• Ensure compliance with agricultural regulations and standards. 

• Implement quality control measures for crop production. 

• Monitor and document the use of agricultural inputs such as fertilizers and pesticides. 

Qualifications : 

• Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, Plant Science, or related field. 

• Proven 6 years of experience in crop management and plantation operations. Exposure in Paddy is highly encourage to apply. 

• Strong knowledge of soil science and crop physiology. 

• Proficiency in data analysis and agricultural software tools. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
