Reports To

Senior Analyst, Fuel Efficiency

Role Purpose

Responsible to work with and assist Senior Analyst, Fuel Efficiency on data analytics and insights to innovate, build, recommend, maintain and produce fuel efficiency programme functions reports for 2 AOCs (MH and FY), ), MASkargo and AMAL with the appropriate KPI.

Key Accountability

• To work with and assist Senior Analyst, Fuel Efficiency to analyse and report 2 AOCs (MH and FY), MASkargo and AMAL fuel efficiency data and CO2 emissions.


• To work with and assist Senior Analyst, Fuel Efficiency to identify gaps and recommend innovation in fuel efficiency programme for other business units when required.


• To carry out data analytics and insights on data related to Fuel Efficiency, Sustainability, Aircraft Operations related matters or any other areas as instructed by Senior Analyst, Fuel Efficiency.


• To ensure data integrity and availability fit for analysis and reporting at all times.


• To consolidate, monitor and prepare weekly, monthly and annual reports on fuel efficiency incremental annual cost savings, cost avoidance and CO2 emissions for 2 AOCs (MH and FY), MASkargo and AMAL for Senior Analyst, Fuel Efficiency.


• To assist and manage administrative documents, reports and contracts are in order for Fuel Management. To assist in preparing Management Paper and CBA for Manager, Fuel Efficiency.


• To assist any internal and external meetings preparations for Fuel Management.


• To attend internal and external meetings on behalf of Fuel Management 


• To assist and conduct change management, internal and external engagements with or in-lieu of Senior Analyst, Fuel Efficiency

Qualification

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering, IT, Statistics, Data Analytics, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Operations Analysis or any related field or special/professional certificate


• Commercial Pilot License or Airline Transport Pilot License or Aircraft Maintenance Engineering License or Flight Dispatcher License, Loadmaster Certificate

Working Experience

Preferably 3 or more years working experience in the airlines industry, with knowledge in fuel operations, process efficiencies and general airlines operations, or has working experience in data analytics, insights and reporting

Areas of Experience 

1. Data analytics and insights, or

2. Aeronautics/Aerospace Engineering, or

3. Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, or

4. Flight Operations (Flight crew), or

5. Flight Operations (Dispatch), or

6. Load sheet

Personality Traits 

1. Intermediate or better analytical and insights skills

2. Capable of multi-tasking and office administration

3. Competent IT related skills, comfortable with numbers and massive data

4. Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills
