Job Summary:

The Accounts Payable (AP) Analyst is to manage transactional processing in excellent service quality to our stakeholders (in a shared service environment) across Asia Pacific. AP Analyst must execute the services rendered in accordance with established processes framework. All AP transactional processing must meet or exceed the agreed service level agreements. 

Responsibilities:

1. Manage the full accounts payable cycle from receipt of invoices to payment, including coding invoices, matching purchase orders, obtaining approval, and entering the invoices into the accounting system.
2. Process employee expense reports, including verification of receipts and coding.
3. Ensure month end closing activities related to AP is executed on a timely basis.
4. Responsible for monthly accounts payable journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
5. Ensure all accounts payable policies and procedures are adhered to including travel and related expenses, vendor approval and invoice processing.
6. Responsible for imaging and record retention of all AP documents.
7. Manage vendor relations and build effective partnerships.
8. Partner with management to identify and implement process improvements.
9. Assist team with gathering support for all audits, including pulling documentation.
10. Investigates and resolves problems associated with AP process.
11. Assist in ad hoc projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of general accounting
• Intermediate proficiency with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Excel.
• Adherence to tight deadlines and quick turnaround for accounting deliverables.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, vendors, and associates.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to develop and maintain an organized structure.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment where adaptability is imperative.
• Accurate with a strong attention to detail.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Previous experience using Oracle is a plus.

Experience

• More than 2 years of working experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance or equivalent.

Language

• Proficient in writing/speaking Thai
