Analyst III, Finance GBS (GL) - Immediate Start

Job Summary:

The candidate is to perform all GL tasks and ensure all datelines and KPI stipulated in Service Partnership Agreement. The candidate is to maintain good relationship with Country Finance in charge, to organize monthly call with Country Finance to align all understanding and resolve all differences in the book. 

 Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for full scale of GL processes and procedures as specified under Service Partnership Agreement 
2. To ensure month/quarter/year end closing activities are met given with tight datelines. 
3. Preparation of journal entries 
4. Balance sheet reconciliation and analysis 
5. Perform inter-companies reconciliation, inter-companies billings and inter-companies netting and payment 
6. Coordinate pre/post closing call between GBS Team and Country Finance for solving variances and issues. 
7. Assist Country Finance on providing data for SOX, internal audit, external statutory audit and tax. 
8. Assist in maintaining internal financial controls and procedures 
9. To handle market/legal entity with more complexity and stringent local regulations; 

Requirements:

• Min 3 years’ working experience preferably in GBS/SSC industry 
• Well-versed in computer applications such as MS Office Applications 
• Proficiency in accounting software- Oracle and One Stream is added advantage    
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills and awareness of cross-cultural issues.
• Mature and ability to solve practical problems and carry out responsibilities under minimal supervision
• Highly independent with sense of urgency, responsibility, result oriented and committed to meet datelines 
• Experience working with team located in the APAC
