1. Managing and planning import process, customs documentation and ensure legal compliance within government rules and regulations including appropriate license/permits for shipments
2. Overseeing the issue of import licenses and completion of monetary transactions associated with the import in a timely manner
3. Controlling all documentation related to the export process , ensuring necessary documentation is provided to customers to enablethem to receive the products without delay (only related to import and export regulations)

4.Ensuring compliance with the home and foreign country government laws and customs regulations

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

• Knowledge of Export/Import Law of Malaysia (STA 2010) and Customs Act 1965 and shipment functions
• Good to have exposure and understanding of US-Re-Export and European Re-Export Regulations
• Proficiency, understanding and experience in using/working with Enterprise Software Systems e.g. SAP, Oracle, BaaN , MFG Pro and etc
• Work with minimal supervision
• Discipline and strong ethic in ensuring compliance to the regulations 

• Diploma/Degree preferably in Supply Chain Logistics or Import/Export Trade Compliance
• 3 or more years working experience in related functions/fields
• Experience working/engaging with relevant government agencies is preferred but not mandatory
