AP Executive (Retail Industry Experience Required)

Job Scope:

• Ensure timely completion of all financial activities in accordance with corporate timelines, guidelines, and policies.
• Handle financial tasks, including but not limited to:
  • Processing invoices and payments, ensuring accuracy and completeness through the AP automation system
  • Accruing invoices and expenses
  • Processing expense reimbursements (manually or through the Concur system)
  • Resolving employee expense and Concur-related queries
  • Reviewing and reconciling aged creditors and debit balances
  • Managing queries from internal and external stakeholders
• Maintain accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial transactions.
• Participate in process and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with all stakeholders and team members to meet end deliverables and KPIs.

Essential Requirements:

• Degree in accounting and/or finance or relevant professional qualifications.
• Previous experience in accounts payable roles, preferably in the retail industry.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and internal teams.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with accounting software and MS Excel.
• Knowledge of retail industry practices and regulations related to accounts payables is a plus.
