This role ensures applications are fully assessed, compliant, secure, and operationally ready before migration, and supports stabilization post\u2011go\u2011live. The role acts as the primary coordination point across application, infrastructure, security, and business teams throughout the migration lifecycle.\n\n* * *\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nGovernance, Planning \u0026 Readiness (Pre\u2011Migration)\n\n * Conduct application and dependency assessments for applications hosted in the Cyberjaya Data Centre\n * Categorize applications by: \n * Environment (MY PROD / SG DR)\n * Business criticality (Baseline / Important / Critical)\n * RTO and RPO requirements\n * Produce detailed application dependency mapping including: \n * Upstream and downstream systems\n * External integrations (e.g., CTOS, CCRIS, CBM, SOA Gateways, MQs, APIs)\n * Shared services (LDAP, SMTP, monitoring tools, schedulers)\n * Identify hard dependencies such as IPs, VLANs, hostnames, firewall rules, and certificates\n\n\n\n* * *\n\nCompliance, Risk \u0026 Architecture Validation\n\n * Validate data residency and regulatory compliance (BNM, PDPA, internal policies)\n * Ensure proper segregation of MY PROD and SG DR environments\n * Perform application impact and risk assessments covering: \n * Downtime tolerance\n * Batch window sensitivity\n * Month\u2011end / quarter\u2011end constraints\n * Identify single points of failure and define mitigation and rollback strategies\n * Validate network design, connectivity flows, firewall directionality, and IP requirements\n * Review application configurations requiring updates (connection strings, MQs, APIs, properties files)\n\n\n\n* * *\n\nPre\u2011Migration Preparation\n\n * Standardize and clean up application environments\n * Decommission obsolete components and unused configurations\n * Ensure backup readiness and successful restore validation\n * Validate certificate readiness (TLS/SSL), expiry, and renewal needs\n * Review secrets management and keystore configurations\n\n\n\n* * *\n\nMigration \u0026 Cutover Support\n\n * Support change and release management activities, including CAC approvals\n * Coordinate application shutdown/startup sequencing during cutover\n * Support clustering and node management activities\n * Monitor logs, connectivity, and error rates during migration\n * Perform smoke tests and provide real\u2011time updates to WAR room and stakeholders\n\n\n\n* * *\n\nPost\u2011Migration Validation \u0026 Stabilization\n\n * Execute functional validation (login, transactions, batch jobs, integrations)\n * Validate DR readiness for SG environment including replication and connectivity\n * Support DR simulations and update runbooks as required\n * Monitor performance, latency, throughput, and stability during hypercare\n * Support transition to Business\u2011As\u2011Usual (BAU)\n\n\n\n* * *\n\nDocumentation, Communication \u0026 Stakeholder Management\n\n * Update application architecture, network, and environment topology documentation\n * Act as Single Point of Contact (SPOC) across application, business, project, and infrastructure teams\n * Provide migration status, risks, and go\u2011live readiness updates\n * Support audit, evidence requests, and post\u2011implementation reviews (PIR)\n * Capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement initiatives\n\n\n\n* * *\n\nRequired Skills \u0026 Experience\n\n * Strong experience in application migration, data center moves, or platform restacks\n * Solid understanding of application architecture, infrastructure, and network dependencies\n * Experience with regulated environments and compliance frameworks\n * Hands\u2011on knowledge of risk assessment, impact analysis, and change management\n * Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills\n * Excellent documentation and communication abilities\n * Ability to work under pressure during cutover and high\u2011risk migration windows\n\n\n\n* * *\n\nKey Skills\n\n * Application Dependency Mapping\n * Migration Planning \u0026 Cutover Execution\n * Risk \u0026 Impact Analysis\n * Compliance \u0026 Regulatory Alignment\n * Network \u0026 Configuration Readiness\n * Stakeholder \u0026 Change Management\n * Incident, War\u2011Room \u0026 Hypercare Support\n\n\n\nAbout NTT DATA\n\nNTT DATA is a $30 billion business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune Global 100.
