Application Support Engineer - Hiring Immediately

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with Product Managers to investigate and troubleshoot issues related to the application. 
• Constantly monitor the health of the application and proactively identify opportunities for improvement. 
• Develop monitoring or other systems scripts. 
• Perform code reviews for standards, quality assurance, and security audit purposes. 
• Constantly improve skills and knowledge of technology through self-learning. 
• Communication: responsibility, initiative, taking pride & ownership in the work delivered. 
• Consult with other development teams and generally contribute your skills wherever required. 
• Develop automation to improve productivity and system stability. 
• Adopt AI tooling to improve productivity 
• Work with the Project Managers to provide estimates and schedules for technical activities. 
• Analyze product requirements and produce architectural recommendations on system and code levels. 
• Participate in the maintenance of the different products and projects. 
• Possesses an intense drive to learn how to improve our core products and services.

Skills and Qualifications: 

• University or college Computer Science degree or equivalent experience 
• 5-7 years of experience in web development, deployment and support
• 3 - 5 years of experience working with AWS cloud technologies and App Support.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
• Team player. Ability to share information with peers and transfer knowledge.
• Experience in implementing and maintaining applications in AWS 
• Experience troubleshooting enterprise systems/technology solutions that include both in-house code and 3rd party solutions. 
• Experience with one of the programming languages (Python, Reactjs, or Nodejs), php(Symfony or Yii) will be a plus, and Serverless technologies 
• Experience with Database Technologies (SQL language) 
• Experience with Cloudformation & Terraform. 
• Ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines/SLA agreements (Time to resolution, and quality of execution are key performance measures) 
• Code Refactoring and performance Tuning experience. 
• Experience with configuration management and configuration integration tool

Certifications 

• AWS Certified Solution Architect - Associate or SysOps Admin - Associate
• AWS Certified DevOPS Engineer - Professional (preferred)
