Application Support/Production Support

Production Support & Maintenance

• Provide L2 support for business-critical applications, ensuring high availability and minimal downtime.
• Handle incident management, issue diagnosis, root-cause analysis, and timely resolution.
• Monitor batch jobs, application logs, performance metrics, and integrations.
• Coordinate with L3/Development teams for defect fixes and permanent solutions.
• Perform regular maintenance patches, releases, environment health checks, and system validations.
• Support deployment activities, release management, and production rollout coordination.

Technical Tasks

• Analyze application issues related to Java Spring Boot services, APIs, integrations, and backend processes.
• Troubleshoot Unix/Linux system level issues including scripts, job failures, and resource utilization.
• Work on Oracle Database queries, performance tuning, and PL/SQL procedures & views.
• Support application servers (WebLogic/JBoss) and web server (Apache) configurations & troubleshooting.
• Maintain workflow-based applications such as CEW (Client Entitlement Workflow) or PDR (Payment Data Repository), if applicable.

Stakeholder & Process Management

• Collaborate with business users, infrastructure teams, and development teams to resolve issues.
• Participate in daily production meetings, incident reviews, and problem-fix planning.
• Ensure adherence to SLA, compliance, audit, and production support standards.
• Prepare documentation, knowledge articles, and operational runbooks.

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in L2/L3 application support or production support.

• Java Spring Boot – strong hands-on experience with APIs, microservices, troubleshooting.
• Unix / Linux – shell commands, log analysis, job monitoring.
• Oracle Database 12c / 19c – strong SQL knowledge for debugging and data validation.
