Job Summary:

 

As an Area Coordinator in the Facilities Department, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating various aspects of our bank’s physical locations. Your role involves ensuring efficient operations, compliance with safety standards, and effective communication across branches and facilities. You’ll play a crucial part in maintaining a seamless experience for both customers and employees.

 

About Your Role:

 

  1. Branch Operations Coordination:
    • Collaborate with branch managers to oversee day-to-day operations.
    • Ensure that branch facilities are well-maintained, clean, and functional.
    • Coordinate repairs, maintenance, and upgrades as needed.
  2. Safety and Compliance:
    • Monitor compliance with safety regulations, fire codes, and security protocols.
    • Conduct regular safety inspections and address any issues promptly.
    • Coordinate emergency response plans for branch facilities.
  3. Vendor Management:
    • Work with vendors and contractors for facility-related services (e.g., cleaning, security, maintenance).
    • Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate contracts.
    • Ensure timely delivery of services.
  4. Space Planning and Utilization:
    • Optimize space utilization within branches.
    • Coordinate office layouts, seating arrangements, and equipment placement.
    • Plan for expansion or relocation as needed.
  5. Facility Communication:
    • Serve as a liaison between branch staff, property owners, and management.
    • Communicate facility-related updates, policies, and guidelines.
    • Address inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
  6. Budget Oversight:
    • Assist in preparing facility budgets.
    • Monitor expenses related to utilities, repairs, and maintenance.
    • Identify cost-saving opportunities.
  7. Branch Openings and Closures:
    • Coordinate new branch openings, including setup and logistics.
    • Facilitate branch closures, ensuring proper asset disposal and lease terminations.

 

About You:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CFM, FMP) are advantageous.
  • Experience in facilities coordination or property management.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of banking operations and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in facility management software.
