Penerangan Pekerjaan - Assistant Account Manager - Start Immediately

We are hiring a resourceful Assistant Account Manager to join our growing team at J.K. Wire Harness Sdn. Bhd. in Johor Bahru, Johor.

Responsibilities:

1) Accounting/Finance transformation initiatives/Governance and Assurance

  • Ensure book keeping and preparation of accounts are timely for month and closing activities.
  • Monitor the implementation of financial process and ensure Finance function are in line and compliance to accounting standards and statutory requirement.
  • Executing and implementing all relevant new initiatives related to Accounting, Financial Operations and Assurance from time to time in accordance to Group timeline.

2) Cash Management

  • Monitor and oversee overall banking and treasury matter of the company to ensure efficient use of funds and adequacy of working capital.
  • Working closely with financial institutions cash concentration, transfer of funds, cost saving initiatives, implement new cash management tools or new bank technologies, product and services to improve cash cycle and simplify company operations and account opening/closures.
  • To manage the risk and establish risk management strategies and implement hedging tactics to mitigate the company's risks, particularly in anticipating volatility of foreign exchange rates.
  • Ensure timely and accurate submissions of reports for treasury operation and control related.

3) Taxation

  • Initial tax Estimate Computation
  • Revise Tax Estimate to avoid tax penalty
  • Review of Tax computation and e-filling prior submission of Tax Agent
  • GST/SST Returns if any
  • Monthly retrieval of the e-TT for monthly Tax installment payment to LHDN

4) Audit (Internal & External)

  • Facilitate, coordinate and support all Audit related matters.

5) Undertake special and ad-hoc assignments as and when required

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 to 5 of years of relevant working experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Finance with ACCA/CIMA/ICAEW qualification.
  • Strong analytical, financial and systems skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization with diplomacy and tactful manner.
