Assistant Architect - Urgent Position

Qualifications & experience

• Candidate must possess Master or Bachelor Degree in Architecture equivalent to LAM I or Part II.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, candidates with experience possess advantages.
• Self-motivated, responsible with professional attitude, able to work with minimum supervision, good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia with good writing skills.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Sketch-up, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Office (Revit, BIM and Lumion are plus points).
• Well versed in By-Laws / guideline and Authorities’ submission requirements.
• Able to handle stress under fast-track project nature.
• Able to work independently to deliver the project from A-Z.
• Passionate about Architecture and willing to learn.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Prepare preliminary conceptual sketch design, feasibility studies (where necessary to prepare preliminary cost estimates), and follow up to develop the design proposal into 3D Model as required for presentation.
• Check all authority requirements, submission guidelines, and procedures and liaise with the relevant authority representative where necessary.
• Liaise with consultants and coordinate consultants' requirements
• Prepare and issue tender drawings, details, and schedules for the compilation of Tender documents.
• Prepare and issue construction drawings and details, ensuring that drawings are corresponding to the approved plans.
• Organize site meetings, prepare site/consultant meeting minutes, and carry out periodical site inspections with the contractors / consultants to ensure that works on site are carried out as per the construction drawings / instructions.
• Coordinate and prepare for the application of Certificate of Completion and Compliance (CCC) and inspections upon completion of construction works with the relevant Authorities.
• Undertake other related jobs from time to time as assigned by the Director.
