Assistant Finance Manager

Job Summary:

Lead the inventory section to ensure inventory reports (ie: Stock movement report/ageing reports etc) match each other and improve the costing structure. Prepare and review monthly inventory analysis report. Analyze inventory report and highlight or liaise with other stakeholders on inventory related issues for decision making.

Job Descriptions:

Inventory section month end-closing:

• Review and check the accuracy of inventory reports (ie: Stock movement/stock ageing/GIT report)
• Review provision for obsolete calculation and journal prepared by subordinate
• Prepare monthly inventory analysis report
• Responsible for Malaysia warehouse stock take and follow up monthly stock take report with respective stake holders for other locations 

Project:

• Liaise with other stakeholders and prepare post events’ report for company events which involved stock movement
• Establish or set up costing system and champion in business process enhancement and new project implementation 

Financial month end closing:

• Lead and review full set account closing of logistic company
• Liaise with external/internal auditors/tax agents to ensure audit & tax compliance.

Job Requirements: 

• Professional Qualification – ACCA, CIMA, CA, Degree or equivalent
• Broad experience in managing full spectrum of inventory analysis, preferably experience in SAP and retail industry.
• Highly motivated individual, independent and hands-on will be critical
• Confident communicator with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders with different cultural background
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft application such as Excel, Powerpoint, word, Power BI
