Penerangan Pekerjaan - ASSISTANT FINANCE MANAGER

JOB DESCRIPTION General Job Description Responsible to work with the Finance Manager in term of resolve company queries on any matters pertaining to the accounting, financial reporting and analysis, taxation, budgeting and performance, internal controls and risk management systems and update standard operating policies to enhance its relevance, efficiencies and effectiveness. Primary Responsibilities 1. Assist in implementation of improvements to finance policies, internal controls, systems and processes. 2. Ensure timely delivery of statutory reporting requirements and management accounts. 3. Perform financial analysis and review monthly management reports and assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes; monitor the variance and reasons for those variances and report on a timely basis. 4. Review AR & GL transactions, audit schedules, inter-company transactions and various reconciliations. 5. Ensure efficient account receivable and payable process. 6. Assist in the finalization of the statutory audit, statutory accounts, corporate income tax computation, and the submission of the corporate income tax return. 7. Liaise with tax agents, auditors, company secretary, and other relevant bodies, when required. 8. Ensure the accounts are in compliance with statutory requirements, approved accounting standards, relevant acts, and regulations. 9. Liaise with tax consultant and other relevant bodies in preform group transfer pricing policies. 10. Attend to yearly inventory count and/or yearly fixed assets count, when required. 11. Providing coaching and mentoring for subordinates. 12. Participate in the training program arranged by the Company in order to develop the knowledge, skills and competencies required for work performance improvement purposes. 13.Ensure timely submission of monthly account from Finance Team and review monthly financial reports submitted. 14.Assist in preparation of Transfer Pricing Document for the group.

Perform other related duties as assigned from time to time Requirements: Candidate must possess at least a Diploma / Degree in Accounting or Finance or Partial Professional Accounting Qualification (ACCA, CIMA). Required language(s): English, Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia. Good Mandarin communication skills and verbal are essential Minimum 4-5 years of relevant working experience is required for this position. Advanced MS Excel and good analytical skills; experience in SAP B1 system will be an added advantage.
