Assistant Finance Manager (6-Month Contract to Permanent)

We are seeking a 6-month Assistant Finance Manager with opportunities for conversion to a permanent position.   

Primary Need of the Role 

In this role, you will be tasked to complete our current management reporting cycle:

• Manage overall financial accounting, variance analysis, and work processes.  
• Master Data creation and maintenance of management reporting tools.   
• Preparation of regular financial performance reports and various schedules.   
• Perform financial analysis for cost control, forecasting and Management commentary.   

Your Regular Activities 

These may be modified to suit your professional strengths, but you can expect a variety of the following assignments:  

• Manage daily finance operations, account reconciliation and audit schedules.  
• Review and monitor monthly cashflow, book-keeping and transactions.   
• Oversee full spectrum of accounting, taxation, insurance, credit control for entities.  
• To recommend and implement appropriate finance policies and internal controls.  
• Compliance with regulations, accounting principles, and standards.   
• Provide advisory to Management on financial matters and regulatory impacts.   
• Act as primary business partner between stakeholders and liaison point for external vendors.  
• Deliver ad-hoc assignments as business requires.  

  Job Requirement:

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance or equivalent professional qualifications  
• Minimum 5 years' relevant working experience. 
• At least 1 to 2 years in financial reporting, consolidation, and accounting is a must. 
• Experience in Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) companies is an advantage.  
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.  
• Business proficiency in English language.
