Assistant Finance Manager - Rapid Progression

The Assistant Manager - Finance assumes responsibility for supporting the Finance Team across various functions, encompassing budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting. This role presents an appealing opportunity for a proactive individual with robust financial acumen to contribute significantly to the organisation’s success and expansion plan.

Responsibilities:

• Report to Senior Manager - Finance/Accounts;
• Prepare consolidation of financial statements for the Group on a monthly basis, ensuring adherence to Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS), Bursa Listing Requirements and SOP requirements;
• Assist in the preparation of management report, annual report, quarterly announcement report, and ad-hoc reports required for the Board/Senior Management/stakeholders meetings;
• Assist in the preparation of annual financial budget and forecast by compiling, analyse and review information/supporting documents submitted by all departments;
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual Variance Analysis report, including analysing and interpreting results and key performance indicators;
• Assist in overseeing the Company's cash flow, liquidity and cash flow forecast analysis to support decision-making and strategic initiatives;
• Assist in analysing manufacturing costs and comparing standard costs to actual production costs;
• Assist in periodic review and assessment of financial processes, policies and procedures to identify weaknesses or deficiencies and implement remediation plans as needed;
• Assist in managing the Company's tax affairs to achieve optimal tax position; and
• Undertake various ad-hoc assignments, analysis reporting and liaise with internal and external parties on financial queries as at when required.

Job requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Finance, Accounting or related professional qualification in Accounting (ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent).
• Minimum 8 years of related experience in Finance or Accounting, additional Audit experience will be an added advantage.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software/ERP Software and MS Office.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Independent, good time management, excellent in analytical skills and multi-tasking.
