ASSISTANT FINANCIAL CONTROLLER

• Possess Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting and related field, or partial completion of ACCA, MIA or related professional examinations
• At least five (5) years in financial management, accounting and operation role.
• For candidates who do not possess the requisite qualification, diploma holder in Finance/Accounting and related field or STPM, SPM holders may be considered subject to having at least 15 years of experience in accounting tasking in supervisory duties.
• Ability to work independently and good attitude.
• Knowledge of consolidation accounting.
• Knowledge of Accounting Standards and Guidelines, Statutory regulations and requirements
• Understanding policies and procedures in the Organisation.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• To supervise the accounting activities of the Finance Division as a whole
• To supervise and ensure timely of invoice
• To monitor and supervise the collection of invoices from debtors, and to generate debtors aging reports as and when necessary, as requested by other divisions
• To organize and supervise the issuance of reminder letters to debtors in accordance with the company's collection policy and procedure
• To verify and ensure proper posting of data for Biztrak Accounting System in order to provide monthly reports
• To verify SST report and assist in online submission
• To liaise with all relevant sections with respects to inputs and data necessary for the preparation of monthly and other reports
• To control and supervise the management accounts and all other reports such that they are issued on a timely basis
• To assist Financial Controller in performing analysis of data forecast/Budget and information for specific assignment
• To prepare and monitor budget preparation, Reforecast and review appropriate assumptions submitted by other divisions
• To assist Financial Controller for SOP review from time to time
• To check and ensure that all output and reports are verified and accurate before release to the appropriate users
• Analyzing of accounts data as required from time to time
• Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts such as monthly payroll, insurance, investment earnings and other general ledger accounts entries
• To initiate journal entry procedure and resolve accounting entry issues for rectification purpose
• Preparing schedules interact with internal and external auditors in completing audits
• Establish, maintain and coordinate the running of Biztrak accounting and accounting control procedures
• To prepare and maintain subsidiary accounts
• To perform any other duties as may be required or directed by the Financial Controller or his/her authorized representative from time to time
