Assistant Maintenance Manager/ Maintenance Manager - Leading Industry Pay

Job Description:

• Lead chargeman for HT/LV electrical installation as per Energy Commission.
• Manage equipment contracts/ service providers on a day-to-day basis.
• Provide necessary reporting to senior management and statutory bodies.
• Conduct yearly performance appraisal for technician and executive.
• Set up equipment and system preventive maintenance tasks via maintenance management software.
• Liaise with utilities providers such as TNB, Suruhanjaya Tenaga and other regulatory bodies on utility services and statutory compliance.
• Lead emergency (unscheduled) repairs or troubleshooting of building system equipment, and close monitoring on building system performance.
• Conducting annual activities such as annual fire cert inspection, power shutdown, testing etc.
• Ensure that the staff and all contractors carry out safe work practices during maintenance, adhoc or renovation works.
• Attend to and feedback/complaints from the occupant (i.e. air-con problems, leakages etc.)
• Prepare reports of systems faults and/or trouble shoot finding for improvement works or insurance purposes.
• To advise on cost of maintenance including preparing cost projection on the maintenance.
• To execute regular audit to ensure Quality Management Systems are successfully implemented.
• Developing and overseeing preventive maintenance programs.
• Developing and implementing maintenance procedures and strategies.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least diploma / bachelor degree in building management or facility management or electrical engineering or mechanical engineering or other related field.
• At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in hospitality industry is required for this position.
• Required language(s) Bahasa Malaysia and English (verbal and written).
• Understanding of all hotel management best practices and relevant laws and guidelines.
• Reliable with an ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.
• Outstanding leadership skills and a great attention to detail.
• Participated in training, such as OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) or HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning).
