JOB OVERVIEW
The Assistant Manager, Accounts & Administration is responsible to implement and oversee the effective management of issues pertaining to accounting, and administration of the company to achieve the highest rate of return on assets under his/ her control and consistent with the policies and procedure of the company.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the management of accounting functions of the company, ensuring workflow efficiency and compliance with established policies and procedures of the company.
- Participates in the development of the company’s goals and objectives to enhance overall accounting procedures.
- Prepares monthly accounts and other financial reports for submission to Management.
- Reviews and analyses income and costs relative to goals and ensure expenditures are within the approved budget.
- Utilises EDP systems for financial reports and analysis.
- Manage cash flow and ensures that the payments are made in a timely manner and correctly.
- Budget preparation according to the company’s goals.
- Responsible for statutory functions and reports.
- Responds to inquiries, researches, and resolves problems related to the company’s transactions.
- Maintains the file on Capex and ensures compliance and completeness.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Professional Qualification (ACCA/CPA/MICPA).
- Possess 5 - 8 years of relevant experience in a finance, audit and/or commercial environment
- Strong technical accounting and tax knowledge, financial business acumen, resourceful, meticulous, and go-to-market strategies, and tactics.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to set priorities, complete work independently and meet deadlines, and prioritize between conflicting demands.
- Possess excellent interpersonal and business communication skills to use data, write and present eloquently, especially in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Preferably with SAP knowledge.
- Candidate should be independent and flexible.
Working Hours: Monday - Friday & Alternate Saturday.
