Position Title


Assistant Manager, Business Support Contracts


Report To


Head Strategy & Transformation


Position Summary


This role oversees contract management to ensure compliance, risk mitigation, and alignment with corporate and regulatory standards. It supports negotiations, monitors contract performance, and manages stakeholder relationships to drive operational and financial outcomes.


The position also contributes to project management and PMO activities, including governance, reporting, and process improvement. Additionally, it supports capability development within the aerospace domain to strengthen organizational performance. Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills are essential.



Key Accountability



  1. Develop and manage a robust contract management function, ensuring clear identification, enforcement, and effective execution of contractual terms, conditions, service levels, and remedies.

  2. Coordinate supplier management, contract administration, and government-related processes, including the application and management of licences, permits, and grants.

  3. Drive process improvement, PMO initiatives, and change management efforts to enhance efficiency and governance.

  4. Act as an intermediary in contract discussions and negotiations with vendors and internal stakeholders.

  5. Lead capability development initiatives to strengthen contract management competencies, particularly within the aerospace domain.

  6. Provide business support to ensure alignment of contract outcomes with organizational objectives.


Qualification



  • Degree or Professional qualification (Engineering / Business / Accounting / Legal) from recognized higher institutions or its equivalent.

  • Diploma (Engineering / Business / Accounting / Law) from recognized higher institutions or its equivalent.

  • 7 for Degree Holder / 10 for Diploma Holder


Area of Experiences



  • Knowledge of contract management and business support processes, aviation industry operations and supply chain management.

  • Highly competent in English as a business language. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Proficiency in using productivity software and business tools, such as Microsoft Office Suite and project management applications.


Personality Traits


Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with exceptional attention to detail. Possess an analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data and present insights clearly.
