Job Scope:
- Collaborate closely with business users to understand requirements, design and develop a data model, dashboard, reports that best fits the users’ needs.
- Develop data modeling & visualization using tools such as Power BI and Qlik Sense.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for all designed solutions.
- Maintain existing data solutions, reports & dashboards, and identify and act upon opportunities to drive efficiencies and improve customer experience.
- Prepare management reporting to regional office and any reports required from local regulator.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform data extraction, reporting and analysis.
- Ensure discipline in documentation of assumptions, observations, and findings.
- Exercise sound judgment while analyzing and interpreting data to ensure a high level of data integrity, accuracy and timeliness in reporting.
- Work with IT department to develop and perform user acceptance testing on data marts to support on reporting and analytics requirements.
- Develop, automate, and execute cross-functional BI dashboard / management reports.
- Follow up on the risk incident progress to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Ad-hoc assignments as requested by Head of Department.
Job Specifications:
Qualifications
- Possess a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Management, IT, Applied Statistics, Data Analytics, or any related discipline.
Experience
- Minimally 2-3 years of working experience in data analysis role or management reporting.
- Strong application knowledge with data query / manipulation tools (e.g. SAS, SQL, Alteryx), data analytics tools (e.g. R, Python, Excel) and BI applications (e.g. Qlik Sense, Power BI) will have an added advantage.
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Good writing and communication skills in English.
